Financial Aid

The monks of Mount Michael Abbey are committed to making high school tuition as affordable as possible. The generosity of the school's community makes it possible for Mount Michael Benedictine School to offer more financial aid per student than any other private high school in the Omaha area.

Need-Based Grants

In order to be eligible for financial assistance a family must complete a financial aid application and supply a copy of their latest Federal Income Tax Return along with their son's application for admission. These forms will be reviewed by the Financial Aid Committee, which uses practices approved by national organizations to determine the amount of aid for which a family is qualified.

It is important to note that applying for financial aid has no bearing on admission to Mount Michael. It is also important to note that we approach every family and its needs and circumstances in confidence and on an individual basis.

Work Study Program

In addition to direct grants-in-aid, Mount Michael offers an extensive work-study program. Besides reducing the burden of tuition, work-study helps to develop responsibility and leadership in students, and often is looked upon favorably within the college admissions process.
