Redwall Series
The Redwall series is young adult fiction set in a forest with an abbey in it called Redwall. There are many, many books in this series. The Redwall series encompasses a long period of time, with a new main character for each book usually. The characters themselves are animals, and while this may seem childish, it provides a great world for the reader to become immersed in.All the books are a fairly quick read, being anywhere from 250-450 pages of medium-sized print. The books are really very, very good, even if it takes awhile to get used to each type of animal's style of dialect and the use of british words such as "vittles" which means food.
