Michael’s
members of the Burke-Mt. Michael Swim team put forth a good showing at the State
Swimming and Diving Meet last week. Mount Michael
Sophomore Drew Delashmutt returned to state this year after finishing
sixth last year as a freshman. This year Drew attained a fourth place
finish in Diving!
In
Swimming, brothers Eric and Mike Patton went to state. As
a freshmen Mike went as an alternate while Eric, a junior, swam
the
third leg
on the 200 & 400 freestyle Relays. The 200 yard relay finished
fifth while the 400 yard relay finished 8th. All three team members
look forward to continued success next year.
