Class of 2003 Plans

*PATRICK WILLIAM CAMPBELL is the son of Don and Ann Campbell of Lincoln. Patrick has received offers of admission from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, Saint Louis University where he was offered the Ignation Tuition scholarship and Texas Christian University where he was offered the TCU Academic and Extracurricular scholarship. Patrick plans to attend CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY where he received the Service and Leadership and the Academic Merit scholarships. Patrick plans to major in Business Administration and follow a Pre-Chiropractic Program.

JARRED MICHAEL CONFORTE is the son of Victoria Conforte of Omaha. Jarred has been offered admission to Marquette University, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, the University of Nebraska-Omaha, Saint Thomas University where he was offered the Saint Thomas Award and Texas Christian University where he was offered the TCU Grant. Jarred plans to attend SAINT LOUIS UNIVERSITY where he received the Vision and the Ignation Tuition scholarships. Jarred plans to major in Mechanical Engineering and Business Administration.

*JOHN ADAM HALL is the son of Robert and Shelia Hall of Omaha. John has received offers of admission from Rockhurst University where he was offered the Dean's scholarship, Trinity University where he was offered the Trustee's scholarship and Marquette University. John plans to attend the UNIVERSITY OF DALLAS where he received the Trustee's scholarship. John plans to major in Business.

*TIMOTHY JON Hall is the son of Timothy and Susan Hall of Omaha. Timothy has received offers of admission from the University of Arizona and Rockhurst University where he was offered the Dean's scholarship. Timothy plans to attend CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY where he was admitted into the Honors Program and received the Creighton Merit and the Service and Leadership scholarships. Timothy plans to major in International Business and Psychology.

**BRANDON CONRAD HANKEY is the son of Bob and Cindy Hankey of Omaha. Brandon has received offers of admission from Carlton College, Grinnel College, Hastings College, the University of Nebraska-Lincoln, and the University of Nebraska-Omaha. Brandon plans to attend CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY where he was admitted into the Honors Program and received the Academic Merit and the Service and Leadership scholarships. Brandon plans to major in Biology and Philosophy.

MITCHELL ADAM HANNER JR. is the son of Mitchell and Mary Jo Hanner of Rio Vista, California. Mitchell plans to attend KANSAS STATE UNIVERSITY where he received the Medallion scholarship. Mitchell plans to major in Agricultural Engineering

*MARK DECLAN HOTOVY is the son of Steven and Marguerite Hotovy of Omaha. Mark has received offers of admission from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was offered the David Distinguished Scholar Award, Creighton University where he was offered the Academic Merit scholarship and the University of Rochester where he was offered the Rochester National Grant. Mark plans to attend the UNIVERSITY OF NOTRE DAME where he received the Notre Dame Grant. Mark is undecided on a major.

DUSTIN JAMES HUNT is the son of James and Denise Hunt of Elkhorn. Dustin has received offers of admission from Benedictine College and Dakota Wesleyan University. Dustin plans to attend BAKER UNIVERSITY where he received a football scholarship. Dustin plans to major in Psychology.

WILLIAM LUKE JENSEN is the son of William and Jan Jensen of Omaha. Luke enlisted in the US Marine Corps Reserves last summer. He leaves on June 9th for 13 weeks of basic training in San Diego. Luke will come home for 10 days before leaving for Camp Pendleton, California for 18 days of Marine Combat Training. From there, he will report to his Military Occupation Specialty school for two to three months. After successfully completing his MOS training, Luke will enroll in the Marine's PLC (Platoon Leader's Class) program and begin his college career. The PLC program includes college scholarship. Luke is interested in attending Creighton University.

*DAVID ROBERT JERGOVIC is the son of Robert and Lisa Jergovic of Omaha. David has received offers of admission from Iowa State University where he was offered the Academic Recognition scholarship, Loyola University of New Orleans where he was offered the Loyola scholarship and the Loyola Grant, Saint Louis University where he was offered the Ignation Tuition and the Vision scholarships, Marquette University where he was offered the Marquette Grant, Saint Thomas University where he was offered the Saint Thomas Award and Academic Scholarship, and Trinity University. David plans to attend TEXAS CHRISTIAN UNIVERSITY where he received the TCU Grant. David plans to major in Psychology and follow a Pre-Med Program.

*WILLIAM ROSS KENNY is the son of Timothy and Sara Vork Kenny of Eagle, Nebraska. William has received offers of admission from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was offered the Canfield and the Engineering scholarships. William plans to attend ROSE HULMAN INSTITUTE OF TECHNOLOGY where he received the Rose Hulman Grant and the Air Force ROTC 4 year scholarship. William plans to major in Software Engineering / Electrical Engineering.

*JOSEPH PATRICK KMIECIK is the son of Richard and Jackie Kmiecik of Omaha. Joseph has received offers of admission from the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was offered the Canfield scholarship and from the University of Dallas where he was offered the Trustee's scholarship. Joseph plans to attend CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY where he was admitted into the Honors Program and received the Academic Merit scholarship. Joseph plans to major in Creative Writing.

*MATTHEW RICHARD LUETTEL is the son of Richard and Rita Luettel of Fort Calhoun. Matthew has received offers of admission from Marquette University where he was offered the Ignatius Academic Achievement scholarship and Kansas University where he was offered the Merit Plus award. Matthew plans to attend CREIGHTON UNIVERSITY where he received the Service and Leadership and the Merit scholarships. Matthew plans to major in Biology and follow a Pre-Med program.
**DANIEL JAMES OLSON is the son of Douglas and Kelly Olson of Omaha. Daniel has received offers of admission from Fordham University and Saint Louis University where he was offered the Dean's Tuition and the Vision scholarships. Daniel plans to attend MANHATTAN COLLEGE where he was admitted into the LaSallian Honor Society and received the Presidential scholarship. Daniel plans to major in Civil Engineering.

THEODORE AUSTIN PAASCH is the son of Rodney and Holly Paasch of Elkhorn. Theodore has received offers of admission from Saint Louis University, Rockhurst University, Doane College, and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln. Theodore plans to attend NEBRASKA WESLEYAN UNIVERSITY where he received the Trustee's and the Founders scholarships. Theodore is undecided on a major.

*CHRISTOPHER MICHAEL PARK is the son of Randy and Teri Park of Elkhorn. Christopher has received offers of admission from Baylor University where he was offered the Provost's scholarship, Saint Louis University where he was offered the Vision and the Dean's Tuition scholarship, Texas Christian University where he was offered the Dean's Tuition scholarship and the TCU grant, Trinity University where he was offered the Murchison scholarship and the University of Nebraska-Lincoln where he was admitted into the Honors Program and offered the Regents 4 year Top Scholar scholarship and the Honors Book scholarship. Christopher plans to attend ROCKHURST UNIVERSITY where he received the Chancellor's, Hearst and Loyola scholarships. Christopher plans to major in Biology and follow a Pre-Med program.

*RYAN CHRISTIAN STIEFVATER is the son of Michael and Tami Stiefvater of Elkhorn. Ryan has received offers of admission from the Colorado School of Mines and Kansas State University. Ryan plans to attend IOWA STATE UNIVERSITY where he received the Academic Recognition Award. Ryan plans to double major in Mechanical and Electrical Engineering.

ANDREW DAVID THOMAS is the son of the late Gordon and Paula Thomas of Blair. Andrew plans to attend NEW ENGLAND CULINARY INSTITUTE in Essex, Vermont and major in Culinary Arts and Business Management.

*ANDREW WILLIAM WALTERS is the son of William and Sue Walters of Omaha. Andrew plans to attend the UNIVERSITY OF MISSOURI-ROLLA where he received the Alumni and the UMR Excellence I and II scholarships. Andrew plans to major in Physics.

Summary: The Class of 2003 was accepted for admission to 34 colleges in 15 states. They will be attending 14 colleges in 8 states (60% out of state, 80% in private colleges). 90 percent of the seniors have been awarded some sort of scholarship from the college they plan to attend in the fall.
