MOUNT
MICHAEL BENEDICTINE
ADVANCED PLACEMENT SCHOLARS
Four
students at Mount Michael Benedictine High School have been
named AP Scholars by the College Board in recognition of their
exceptional achievement on the college-level Advanced Placement
(AP) Examinations. Founded in 1900, the association is composed
of more than 4,500 schools, colleges, universities and other
educational organizations. Each year, the College Board serves
over three million students and their parents, 23,000 high
schools, and 3,500 colleges, through major programs and services.
The four students at Mount Michael who took AP Examinations
in May 2004 performed at a sufficiently high level to merit
such recognition.
The College Board recognizes
several levels of achievement - the AP Scholar, the AP Scholar
with Honors and the AP Scholar with Distinction.
Andrew Huss, son of Mr. and Mrs. Michael
Huss of Omaha, qualified for the AP Scholar with Distinction
Award by earning a grade of 4 and 5 on seven of the AP Exams
taken.
Bennett Swiniarski, son of Mr. and
Mrs. Joseph Swiniarski of Omaha, qualified for the AP Scholar
with Honor Award by earning a grade of 3, 4, and 5 on four
of the AP Exams taken.
Michael Lundgren, son of Mr. and Mrs.
Jerry Lundgren of Omaha, and Tyler Martin, son of Mr. and
Mrs. William Martin of Omaha qualified for the AP Scholar
Award by completing in 3 or more AP Exams, with grades of
3 or higher.
On behalf of the Advanced Placement Program and all of the
Mount Michael Community, we congratulate these young men on
their fine achievements.
