| When spring comes upon us, the world seems to be filled with the
sounds of rebirth and renewal. Birds chirping, puppies yipping, the
world gets reborn again with all of its sights and smells. And none
of these sights and smells could be complete without the sounds of
the Mount Michael Band Spring Concert.
This year the band played over nine ensembles,
including such favorites as the ‘Feather Theme’ from Forest Gump and
the theme from Jurassic Park, with four songs from the Jazz band
as well. Also Michael Gibilisco and Mason Tye performed, “Find
Me a Tenor,” a wonderful duet acting performance. All in
all, the night was a great success, with cookies, punch, and other
delectable treats were served afterwards to all who would eat them. -
