| On
Saturday, April 17, sophomores, juniors, and seniors met at the
College of St. Mary’s for “Knights at the Roxbury,”
where they were met with a night of dancing and music.
Starting at nine at the College of
St. Mary’s was the dance. The DJ was supplied by Complete
Music. Songs were played throughout the night, but if the dancing
became too much for you or your date, you could step out onto the
balcony for some fresh air. Around eleven, was the much anticipated
announcing of royalty. From the sophomore class was Reid Anderson,
winning Duke. Adam Michaelson was named Prince. For the senior class,
Stash Dwornicki was crowned king.
Although the dance ended at midnight,
but the fun didn’t stop there. At one o'clock in the morning
everybody headed for Maplewood lanes, for bowling and ‘Casino
Night’.
Among the prizes given away were a radio, a printer, and other
prizes
including cash. Post Prom ended at 4:30 after mass with Fr. Dan.
As for the night, Brian Reidelberger said, “It was the
best night I’ve ever had in my entire life.”
