On Sunday, September 19th, the monks of Mt. Michael Abbey and the
greater Mt. Michael community said farewell to summer and welcome
to autumn with the 49th annual Fall Festival.

success with over 11,000 visitors. Guests enjoyed dozens of types
of food from polish sausages to pizza and hot enchiladas to hamburgers
while, ice cream, cotton candy, and “Heavenly Apples” kept
the crowds cool.
Kids enjoyed the fun and games of the “Kiddie Korral” and
the balloon-genius of The Amazing Arthur, while the parents were
entertained with dance and musical acts such as The Heartland Hoedowners,
The Avi8tors, Robert Glaser and the Sing, Sing, Swing Orchestra,
the Cabaret Theatre, the country and western music of Ron Zoucha,
and the talented serenading quartet of The Sapranos.
Festival guests
relaxed with horseback and hayrack rides, as well as the beautiful
