Annual Christmas Dinner Enjoyed by All
The student/faculty dinner is something that Mount Michael students look forward to every year. It’s an opportunity to get a good meal, sit down and talk with ones classmates, and to have a good conversation with the monks and teachers. This year’s dinner was a nice break in the middle of the week for students to kick back and relax.
Christmas Dinner     It is a tradition at the dinner for sophomores to serve and clean up. The sophomores still get to have the steak dinner; they just eat before the other students. It is a time for freshman, juniors and seniors, especially, to enjoy a candle light meal. “The dinner was pretty good,” junior Han Bin Im commented.
Monks, teachers and students were dispersed at tables throughout the monk’s dining room and the cafeteria. The students and faculty feasted upon bread, salad, potatoes, steak and Boston cream pie for desert. “The pie was the best,” junior Ricky Cheng added.
The dinner is a good opportunity to get to know the staff a little bit better. Junior RJ Lebbert happened to sit with Bro. Mel, and said that he learned a lot about Bro. Mel. “He’s a great guy,” Lebbert commented. “It was really fun.”
