Mock Trial Started

We started Mock Trial here at Mount Michael not to prepare the students to become lawyers, but to give them experience in public speaking, thinking on their feet, being both spontaneous and logical and to develop poise under stress.

Our students competed with other schools in the Omaha area both as Prosecutors and Defendants on a case provided by the Mock Trial Association. They did very well for first timers.

Our success is due in great part to all the time and effort put into this by Attorney Jeff Hall, father of student Nick Hall, with assistance of Attorney and Alumnus Luke Paladino.
