Annual Christmas Gift Drive by Mount Michael Families Prospers
For over ten years Mount Michael students and their families have participated in a gift drive for families in need. Sister Carolyn Foley says that originally we started with just 4 families, one for each grade. The program has been so successful though that over time it has expanded to 3 families for each class.

According to Sister Carolyn, Mary Our Queen parish coordinates the project by gathering the names and needs of families from throughout Omaha and then distributes those names to participants like Mount Michael. This year's 12 families will each receive a food basket and several gifts for each child in the family.
