National Honor Society & Paint-a-Thon

On Saturday the 18th, members of the National Honor Society woke up early to participate in the Nebraska Paint-a-Thon. The eleven students and three adults who volunteered their time and efforts painted the entire house of a disabled, elderly woman in less than three hours. One object of the Mount Michael chapter of the National Honor Society is to stimulate a desire to render service. The young men who participated in this years Paint-a-Thon strongly demonstrated the reason they are in the National Honor Society through their willingness to serve the broader community by freely giving of themselves to the less-fortunate.
