Pat Pick, Athlete of the Year
      Wednesday night at the annual Father-Son Banquet Pat Pick was honored as Mount Michael’s Athlete of the Year. Pat is known not only for this athletic talent but his work ethic. In his speech Pat addressed the underclassmen, pointing out that success happens because of what you do during the off season. Pat is the third Pick brother to receive this honor at the Mount. His brother Matt was athlete of the year in 1995 and Mike in 2004. This is the second time that an entire family of brothers has been so honored, John, Mike, and Rob Noble did the same in the 1980’s.

      The featured guest speaker for the night was sports commentator Travis Justice from KMTV Channel 3 in Omaha. He spoke about the important relationship between fathers and sons and also the significant value of family involvement in making private schools so good. Afterwards he took a series of questions from the audience.
