State Journalism Individual Medalists
In April the Knight Writers qualifed 12 members to compete in the individual "All Class" competition. This was the most ever for the Mount. In the competion the Knights picked up 4 individual medals which was another all time best. In Advertising Jay NeSmith finished 1st and Alex Loth finished 3rd. In the catagory of Newspaper Layout Derek Stieren finished 5th. In Yearbook Theme Copy Writing Colten Venteicher finished 4th. The Knights also picked up their Class C State Championship Trophy.

Next year will be a real challenge for the Knight Writers in that they have decided to compete up a level into class B.
